Wil7 is a boutique hotel shaped by the spirit and history of Berlin itself. Located on Wilhelmstraße 7 in Berlin-Kreuzberg, our home sits within a classic Gründerzeit building that has witnessed the city’s many transformations. Originally constructed in the late 19th century and restored in 2016, its elegant facade and generous windows reflect a time when Berlin was rapidly growing and redefining itself.
But the story of this address goes even further back. Long before the current structure took shape, Wilhelmstraße was a lively location of industry and community life during the early days of Berlin’s industrialization. In the 18th century, enterprises like cotton weaving and printing helped shape the neighborhood’s character, and buildings here once housed workers, families and schools that supported them.
Today, the street carries Berlin’s layered history — from artisan workshops to elegant townhouses — into the present. Our hotel honors this legacy by preserving the original charm of the building while offering a refined and contemporary stay.
We are a small, international team united by a shared love for Berlin and for genuine hospitality. Being small allows us to keep things personal — attentive communication, warm interactions, and a sincere interest in every guest’s experience.
Meet Viola
Viola leads the creative direction of Wil7, overseeing interiors, design, marketing, and events. Her focus is on atmosphere — shaping spaces that feel refined yet relaxed, and experiences that reflect the spirit of the hotel and its neighborhood.
Meet Luca
Luca oversees the day-to-day life of Wil7, bringing structure, clarity, and a strategic eye to the hotel’s operations. Responsible for general management, business development, and long-term vision, he ensures that everything behind the scenes runs smoothly — so guests can simply enjoy their stay.
What Sets Us Apart
Scale
Wil7 is deliberately small. The limited number of rooms allows for attention, calm, and continuity — a place where guests are recognized, not processed, and where hospitality unfolds naturally rather than by script.
Design
The hotel is shaped by clarity rather than excess. Spaces are composed to feel balanced and lived-in, with materials, light, and proportions working quietly together. Design here supports comfort and presence, never distraction.
A Considered Way of Hosting
Hospitality at Wil7 is intuitive and precise. We focus on timing, tone, and care — knowing when to be present and when to step back — so guests feel both supported and free.
